Oco Connect
Oco has developed a fundamentally different approach and tool for data extraction and integration that dramatically simplifies and speeds the data cleansing and data mapping process. Our powerful
Connect tool uses proprietary technology to extract, identify, and normalize data from multiple systems, and rapidly organize it into a logical data warehouse structure. It is based on an artificial
intelligence-based learning engine, and a unique approach to normalizing and conforming data. Connect does not require packaged or proprietary adapters for each new system or database; it builds on
its past learning to intelligently map the data from new systems. Connect maintains the data lineage so interrogating the data, updating it, and adding new reporting is done effortlessly. And Connect
is integrated with our Intelligent Data Schema, so cumbersome data mapping is eliminated.
Oco Connect has normalized over one billion records and incorporated that experience into its learning engine. Databases with millions of rows can be integrated and normalized in a few days. And
each new database or update is simple, fast, and accurate.
Oco Intelligent Data Schema
Oco's robust Intelligent Data Schema (IDS) is based on more than a decade of experience mapping business data into data warehouses to drive analytics and reporting. The proprietary database structure
has been developed to optimize performance, functionality and flexibility, addressing companies across many different industries. The schema is structured in a fundamentally different way from
traditional data warehouses, storing basic data elements in a more elegant structure without the need to aggregate into data marts and cubes. This allows for drill down capabilities into each data
element. The IDS is tightly linked with Connect, allowing rapid cleansing and normalization of the data, and the placement into known locations in the IDS.
Oco IDS has been used to store hundreds of millions of rows of data, providing less than 500 millisecond response times to generate essential business visibility.
Oco Analytics and Reporting
Over the past ten years, Oco has been mapping different business models, structures and problems to develop a fundamental understanding of business process-based behaviors. This intellectual property
has been developed into a comprehensive set of business analytics and reports. Our Library of reusable reports and key performance indicators and metrics covers numerous functional areas across
retail, manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. These reports are generated off our data warehouse and have been developed with customers, based on the needs of different functional
areas, and embody industry norms and best practices. Metrics and KPIs in each report can be deeply drilled into to get to the basic data element - a customer transaction, invoice, purchase order,
shipment - to fully understand the issue at hand.
These reports typically address a large portion of our customers' requirements. Customers may choose to use our existing reports, or we can easily modify existing reports or configure new reports to
best meet your needs.
